yesterday I went shopping with my mom. We got cheese and olive pizza and soft serve twist ice cream (my favorite!!!). I found a green shirt that I had been looking for; I also got a cool camera case and some rechargable batteries... the only problem is that I can't find the battery recharger.
I finally got a photobucket account! Photobucket is so helpful! My brother almost killed my camera today! Three times in about 20 minutes! He squirted his water gun at it... He can be really slow.
Well, my camera survived, and I took a bunch of pictures of flowers. Flowers are so pretty and easy to snap! I think I'll post my favorites on here tomorrow.

photography
I took all these this morning with my new camera. I guess they're pretty good for me... I'm normally a pretty bad photographer and my photos turn out blurry... Flowers are the easieist subject, even though videos of my bunny were funny! I should post a few if I can figure out how to.
Well I'm going outside to look for some four-leaf clovers. Then I'm going to bartar my mom into letting me have ice cream.

batterries
no wonder my camera wasn't turning on! The batteries were in backwards! I'm totally hopeless with batteries!!! Well I'm going to shoot some videos now...
P.S. my big sister left this morning to fly to Minnesota; she's visiting her friends for almost 3 weeks over there. Just please pray for her, that she'll have a safe trip (and safe stay!)!

first photos
Woohoo! I finally figured out how to upload a photograph when the connection's slow... W-A-I-T.
Well here's a picture that I took of my baby snapper, Tilda, aka Terrie. (When there's more than one girl in the family, the pets usually have more than one name)...Hey, it's the ultimate standard of adventure in our home! Thumb-sucking and watching movies...
Where do you think I learned how to talk on the phone?

computer
aaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggh!!!!!!!! How long does it take to upload a simple little photo on blogger? About half an hour! I need a new computer! With wireless internet so I can borrow the neighbor's connection instead of putting of with this hopeless thing!!!
That's right, my next electronic goal is a laptop of my own!

digital camera
I bought a digital camera the day b4 yesterday! I love it, it's really sensational! It's a sony cybershot... it was $128, I guess that's a pretty good price for it. Besides pictures, of course, it takes videos with audio... I'll try to post them, but the pictures and photos I recently uploaded to my computer seem to have vaporized!!!

turtle
I got a baby snapping turtle. She doesn't bite. Her name is Tilda. I'm afraid I might only be able to keep her for a week.
Well I had a great time yesterday. I had a friend over for a sleepover yesterday. We played scrabble and ZT, ate tacos, walked a mile, played frisbee, and a bunch of other stuff.

tribute to bella
My goldfish died today. Her name was Isabella. I had her for almost two years. She was a good fish, the cause of her death: a horrid filter. It sucked her up and shredded her poor little fins. She was an orange fantail. We flushed her down the toilet several hours ago. I will be aquiring an oranda goldfish sometime in the near future to replace her.
My friend Korah stayed the night, and she's still here. We're having an awesome time, more on that later. Oh by the way I now have a pet snapping turtle, of all things!!!
Well I have to go, toodaloo.

con
A brief conversation between me and my sister, held just minutes ago, starting with me.
"I'm going to be so bored this summer!"
"Well at least you didn't vomit..."
"What?! Did you?"
"Yeah."
"Why? Did you eat too much?"
"No, I had too much gum."
"Oh."
"Want some?"
"No thank you!"
Okay I'm a freak... (didn't you know that all along?)

Excursion
Our family is planning on going on an excursion beginning on Friday, July 13. We started out thinking we'd be renting a house at the Virginia Beach for 3 days, but now we are planning on going camping the whole time and getting a 7-day pass to Busch Gardens. I was really looking forward to going to both of those places, but now it seems we are just going to Busch Gardens and probably not the beach. I hope we have fun! But our family has never had a perfect vacation, and probably never will. Come to think of it, I've never had a perfect week, or even a perfect day. Not even a completely perfect hour! I guess nothing's perfect. Even just the sleeping situation. Even if I have an ait mattress, it will most likely pop. I'm a very light sleeper, and if my dad doesn't snore real loudly (we all have to share a tent), his sleep machine thing will buzz all through the night. Oh well, things could be worse. If my mom saw this, she'd probably yell at me and tell me to be optimistic and be glad we're even going on a vacation, no matter how imperfect it may be. So I guess I should.
Busch Gardens is a really neat place. It's a theme park. I went to the one in Miami when I was 5. I've heard it's nicer since Florida tends to attract more tourists and they get more buisness, but I don't remember it much. Supposedly the Williamsport location has a waterpark, amusement park, and shows. Most of the amusement rides are roller coasters. I don't mind that cuz I love roller coasters! I hope they have bumper cars and bumper boats too. I remember the Miami one had alligators and lions and things like that, but I'm pretty sure the Williamsport one doesn't have those; it has horses and birds instead. I guess it will be better than crumby old alligators if I get to ride the horses, even if it is just a pony ride. Imagine trying to ride an alligator! I don't even want to think about it...
How do you like my new profile image? I thought it was kind of funny; maybe I should actually get a picture of myself sometime soon though!
I'm almost done with eighth grade, finally! tomorrow's the last day, and there's just one assignment left to do, my science final.
Well that's all for now.

koko
Here's a picture of Koko the gorilla playing with her pet kitten, which she called Lipstick, of all names!!! Well, she also called her pet bluejay "Tongue"! Koko was a really cool gorilla; she learned a lot of sign language and lived in a trailer and was even being taught how to read and use a computer and draw scribbly pictures. She also had several pets, including her cats. There was a really funny story behind how she got her first cat. She signed to her trainer, Penny Patterson, that she wanted a cat for Christmas. So Penny got her a toy cat. Koko didn't seem to like the cat at all and she threw it around and tried tearing it apart. She was depressed and sulky for a few days, and then she told Penny that she wanted a real cat! She ended up getting a kitten that she called Smokey, but it got hit by a car, so she got Lipstick, the kitten in the photo.

- Orange or Apple? Apple
- Spring or Fall? Spring! Everything's so fresh and new and not too warm and not too cold, and you're almost out of school!
- Roller Skating or Bowling? Bowling; I don't even know how to roller skate!

- Rose or Daisy? I love most flowers, and I like them both... daisies are bright and bold, and roses are baeutiful and subtle.

my mom
3 things you probably didn't know about my mom (and she might not want anyone to know):
- Her toenails are painted bright pink.
- She tried dying her hair dark blond, and it turned out chestnut colored (which in my opinion looks better on her anyway).
- She's 41 years old.
Aren't I just so mean? :D

verbosity
Is that kinda weird? I found it could stand for a couple different. things. It's kind of a game I play. Instead of getting mad at those security things, I now try to think of sentences that you can make by starting each word with the letters given, in that order. I guess you'd call it verbosity.
here's a really stupid one:
You
Just
Quit
Helping
Cows
Eat
Ice
Cream

food
Ugh! I was ready to sit down and have a nice meal that I would really enjoy. After all, hadn't I been waiting all day for it, eating nothing but some cold cereal and a can of spinach so I'd have plenty of room? Hadn't I been promised big franks or grillers and Popsicles on this sticky old day? Didn't she think it might upset my day and my stomach when she and the rest of my siblings came home with tofu dogs that tasted like they were actually made of dogs, and my cheapskate of a brother's $2 choice of dessert - cotton candy?!!! I mean, I don't absolutely despise either of the stuff, but I was expecting and wanting and needing something better. Maybe I should continue to go by the rule "if you don't want to eat what there is, don't eat anything at all." It's only till lunch tomorrow, and by then they might come up with something decent. Goodness knows I need to lose five or ten pounds anyway. So what should I do in this dilemma, starve myself or eat that junk? I think I choose the former.
update: I actually tried choking down a tofu dog, but then I got up for a second to go get a drink. My cheapskate of a brother decided he'd better get up too for some reason or other as well. When I returned to my chair, there was my brother sitting in my chair, munching away at ... MY HOT DOG!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING...IT WASN'T EVEN FUNNY!!! I LOST HALF MY HOT DOG TO THAT CHEAPSKATE AND DIDN'T WANT TO EAT THE OTHER HALF CUZ IT GOT POISONED WITH COOTIES!!! That's what I get for going against my better judgment...
