Spring, Spring, Spring!!!

Spring is finally here! Only a bit of melting snow is left, from the largest drifts. Today is about 72 degrees out, nice, humid, sunny, calm, and breezy. My favorite! OF COURSE, I don't most weather conditions as long as I'm in the great outdoors... :D
My sister woke me up soooo early *yawn*... 9:00 in the morning!!! Proposterous!!! I tried to take my rabbit for a hop... he hopped right out of his leash and away. I tried to take my dog instead, but you can't really scooter while your dog is attempting to pull you into the street. I wanted to use my pogo stick... couldn't find it... Then I jumped and skipped rope for a while... but after 75 jumps without stopping, I almost dropped dead. I need to get in better physical condition. I think of myself as satisfyingly slim but not enough endurance or muscle.
Ooooooooohhh I want ice cream sooooooooooooo bad... I'm almost addicted to that good stuff!!! I'm supposed to be a vegan, but now even "cow ice cream" won't stop me! As one friend would say... apostate. Oh well... I asked my mom if she'd drive me over to the place by 309 that has scrumptious ice cream, if I'd get the rest of my schoolwork for the 3rd semester done. Otherwise, all of today's and tomorrow's school; the end of the third semester is tomorrow! I can't wait! After that, only two more months until my simply lovely summer vacation!!!

Yesterday I babysat again... now I have to visit the bank. I have almost $500 save up now. I guess that's a start to going to 2 summer camps, and buying that digital camera, laptop computer, and new rabbit I want... lol!
My dad's been in Oklahoma for almost 3 weeks. He's supposed to stay there a month. My mom and three siblings and I are going to go meet him in Erie; we'll be staying at my grandma's house. Blessed Spring vacation, I have off from school a whole week! I don't think I'll be going to Splash Lagoon there after all, but it'll be a blast anyway.

Diamonds can be made from peanut butter.

What??? That's right, NOVA recently aired a program called "The Diamond Deception" where they interviewed people who are researching different methods of making man-made diamonds. They heat the peanut butter up to 3000 degrees under a lot of pressure and they are able to make diamonds that are indistinguishable from their natural counterpart.

Bible vs. Cell Phone

I got this in an email recently! It is so fascinating to think how wonderful life would be like if we treated our Bibles like we do our cell phones?

THE CELL PHONE vs. THE BIBLE
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we interrupted our favorite program to take just one verse?
What if we gave it to our kids as a gift?
What if we made sure our friends and family were on the same plan?
What if we stepped out of a meeting, just to read one encouraging verse?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
What if we interrupted our dinner to read it?
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being "disconnected" because of an unpaid bill. Jesus already paid the bill in-full.
And just think--no dropped calls! God hears them all!

Sunburned Eyes

Okay... how's it going??? Well, I fried myself yesterday while I was skiing. I know that's weird, cuz skiing is supposed to be a snowy and cold sport, and I actually did get some slush up my jacket, but anyway... I actually sunburnt my eyes. If you think that is impossible, then I might post a picture. My eyes look like a segment of the American flag... blue, white, and red. :] The red is actually in a stripe, where I squinted, weird huh. Well I'm typing with one hand at the moment cuz I'm talknig on the phone, so I will write more later when my hands are both free. buenos noches!
