  • Wood or Glass? Wood

I copied this from my friend's blog, http://aj-declares.blogspot.com/, who copied it from her mom's blog and filled it in for myself. It originated at Peggy's blog over at Home Made Simplicity She just asked us to point others back to her blog.

Well now you know all about me! Well not quite but this was fun anyway!

my mom

3 things you probably didn't know about my mom (and she might not want anyone to know):

  1. Her toenails are painted bright pink.

  2. She tried dying her hair dark blond, and it turned out chestnut colored (which in my opinion looks better on her anyway).
  3. She's 41 years old.

Aren't I just so mean? :D

verbosity

Hey I found this security thing (I have to type these annoying things about 10x a day). But this one was special. I forget what you call the things, but it goes like this:

best

friends

help

with

life

Is that kinda weird? I found it could stand for a couple different. things. It's kind of a game I play. Instead of getting mad at those security things, I now try to think of sentences that you can make by starting each word with the letters given, in that order. I guess you'd call it verbosity.

here's a really stupid one:

You

Just

Quit

Helping

Cows

Eat

Ice

Cream

lost foxy

I was having a grand time in the creek by our church, just chillin' out in the water and looking for bugs to feed to my friend's brother's baby robins that he found. I ended up finding two black salamanders (I caught one, but the other got away), a huddle of disgusting big crayfish, a dozen leeches (which, gross, I know, I didn't even touch them, the robins gobbled them up quite fast however!), and some worms. Oh by the way, it would probably have been a lot better if my friend's brother hadn't been along. I don't want to be mean or anything but he annoys the dayligts outa me, and sometime punches the daylights outa me and anyone else he wants. Besides the point.

We'd just gone upstream a ways and I was going to go farther, when I got closer and saw something in the water. It was the carcass of some animal!!!!! At first I thought it was a cat. I don't know, but cat, fox, whatever it was, it was soooo scary and gruesome and creepy. I just screamed and screeched, wouldn't you have??!! Dead animals or dead anthing, especially when they're crawling with maggots, really creep me out and give me nightmares!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am scarred for life!

SUNSET

AAAAHHH!!! It's almost sunset! Time to panic! I still have a million things to do before Sabbath starts!

food

Ugh! I was ready to sit down and have a nice meal that I would really enjoy. After all, hadn't I been waiting all day for it, eating nothing but some cold cereal and a can of spinach so I'd have plenty of room? Hadn't I been promised big franks or grillers and Popsicles on this sticky old day? Didn't she think it might upset my day and my stomach when she and the rest of my siblings came home with tofu dogs that tasted like they were actually made of dogs, and my cheapskate of a brother's $2 choice of dessert - cotton candy?!!! I mean, I don't absolutely despise either of the stuff, but I was expecting and wanting and needing something better. Maybe I should continue to go by the rule "if you don't want to eat what there is, don't eat anything at all." It's only till lunch tomorrow, and by then they might come up with something decent. Goodness knows I need to lose five or ten pounds anyway. So what should I do in this dilemma, starve myself or eat that junk? I think I choose the former.

update: I actually tried choking down a tofu dog, but then I got up for a second to go get a drink. My cheapskate of a brother decided he'd better get up too for some reason or other as well. When I returned to my chair, there was my brother sitting in my chair, munching away at ... MY HOT DOG!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING...IT WASN'T EVEN FUNNY!!! I LOST HALF MY HOT DOG TO THAT CHEAPSKATE AND DIDN'T WANT TO EAT THE OTHER HALF CUZ IT GOT POISONED WITH COOTIES!!! That's what I get for going against my better judgment...

random

Isn't it so cute? I found out albinism only occurs about once in 10,000! I tried looking for an albino panda... there's only 1800 pandas in the world...

I got a haircut just about an hour ago... my hair grew about 3 or 4 inches since my last one. My hair is now several inches past my shoulders, with wavy layers on the side.
speaking of hair, you may want to check out this link, it's funny, if nothing else:

op art

I drew this a couple days ago, for art class. It was kinda fun. I like the colors green and purple; I think they look good together. This isn't exactly my finest piece, but I thought it was kinda neat. I'm working on a picture of flowerzz... you can see more of my art at

Storm

Last night we had a bad storm. It started with some thunder and lightning and then it started raining like crazy. Pretty soon we had many-mph wind blowing, and hail pelting down. At first it was just little chips of ice, then it got quarter-sized, and some of them were golf ball sized. I wasn't about to go out and pick any up though cuz that would've been silly. I didn't take the above picture, but that's what it looked like outside. And this morning, there were leaves scattered all over the yard.

yaaaay summer vacation!

It's just a week til SUMMER VACATION!!!!! Isn't that soooo exciting!? And just two weeks til summer camp!

Sand and Stone

Two friends were walking through the desert.
At some point in the journey, they had an argument
and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying
anything wrote in the sand:

"Today my best friend slapped me in the face."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where
they decided to take a bath.

The one who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire
and began to drown, but his friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:
"Today my best friend saved my life."
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend
asked the other, "After I slapped you, you wrote in the sand;
and now, you write on a stone. Why?"

The friend replied, "When someone hurts us, we should
write it down in the sand, where winds of forgiveness can erase
it away. But when someone does something good for us, we
must engrave it in stone, where no wind could ever erase it."

Learn to write your hurts in the sand, and to carve your blessings
in stone. It is said it takes a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire
lifetime to forget them.

VAC

I actually finally got my vacation.
My dad’s account of the trip:
Dad was the best daddy ever, he bought us this nice comfortable van. He gave us plenty of time to finish packing, he went out of his way 40 miles to get my sister’s inhaler, he didn’t complain until the kids started screaming (and we were complaining brats) Mom took an hour shopping for food, well maybe 45 minutes. She bought us nice fake meat. They said we were silly for putting three naughty kids together in the middle row and one in the back with the dog.
And until he gets the computer so he can check his email, he’s going to annoy me like only he can. oh shut up

just 88

only 88 visitors?!! I need to do something about that!

I know... I'll get a new site meter and start it at 100,000!
nevermind

snowmen battle!

hehe what do you think of that? =D
